1. Terms and Conditions of Sale
1.1 Payment Methods
All payments for orders placed with Gray’s Darts are processed via PayPal or Bank Transfer.
1.2 Customer Information
Please be assured that we will not share or disclose any personal information to third parties. We are fully GDPR compliant and covered by ICO.
2. Prices & Products
2.1 Pricing
All prices and products displayed on our website are correct at the time of publication and are listed in GBP. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
3. Gift Vouchers
3.1 Purchase and Use
Gift Vouchers can be purchased through our website. Upon successful purchase, an e-Voucher will be sent to the billing email address within 48 hours.
3.2 Expiry
e-Vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months from the date of purchase.
4. Shipping
4.1 Domestic UK Shipping
We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 hour Service for deliveries to all mainland UK destinations.
4.2 International Shipping
All international shipments are dispatched using Royal Mail’s International Signed For Service.
4.3 Packaging
We ensure that all products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
5. Darts or Items Sent to Us
5.1 Packaging Requirements
When sending darts to us, please ensure that they are securely packaged so that they arrive safely.
5.2 Risk of Loss
All darts/items sent to us, and returned to you, are at the owner's risk. We can only accept claims for work carried out on darts that we have made. If you send darts to us for modification (such as broken point removal), a receipt from the original purchase, including the date, cost, and store, must be provided upon making a claim.
6. Loss of Damaged Items
We advise using a tracked and signed for service to send us your darts.
6.1 Claims for Lost or Damaged Items
We are not directly responsible for delays or damage caused by Royal Mail or their overseas partners. For bespoke items, we will replace only those that have been lost or damaged after a successful claim through Royal Mail.
6.2 Timeframe for Claims
Royal Mail considers items lost if they have not arrived within 15 working days (UK) or 21 working days (Europe & Rest of World). Claims for lost items must be made within the specified timeframes, and damaged items should be reported immediately upon receipt.
6.3 Investigation Process
We will cooperate fully with Royal Mail during their investigation, which may take up to 30 days. If an item is deemed lost, we will provide a claim form for you to complete within 48 hours, as part of the investigation.
7. Bespoke Darts Designs
7.1 Design Process
We design and manufacture bespoke darts based on your specifications. We provide advice on the feasibility of designs based on our extensive engineering experience and whilst we make every effort with your design, we do not guarantee that your dart will be exactly as you imagined. If you are changing grip or weight, it will take time to get used to. We will advise you if the desired weight or balance point can be achieved. Any issues arising from the design will be the responsibility of the designer.
7.2 Product Issues
Every effort is made to ensure that your dart arrives to you in perfect condition, we are not liable for 3rd party handling errors.
8. Returns Policy
8.1 Bespoke Products
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly Distance Selling Regulations), we are unable to accept returns of bespoke products made to your specifications unless they are deemed faulty or incorrect following an inspection.
8.2 Reporting Faults
Faults must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the goods, prior to their use. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit. The customer is responsible for return postage costs.
8.3 Refund Process
Refunds, where applicable, will be issued using the same payment method as the original purchase. If a refund is not deemed valid, the goods will be returned to the customer at their expense.
9. Cancellation of Orders
9.1 Custom Orders
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, cancellations of bespoke custom-made orders are not permitted. There is no "cooling-off" period for custom items.
9.2 Refunds for Cancellations
In cases of incorrect or unauthorised ordering, refunds will be processed minus any unrecoverable fees, such as PayPal charges.
10. Overseas Orders and Shipping Costs
10.1 International Shipping
International shipping costs are determined by the value of the package. We send all international orders via Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed For service.
10.2 Shipping Charges
International shipping costs begin at £12.00 Delivery times are estimates based on Royal Mail’s guidelines, and we cannot be held responsible for delays due to international shipping or Customs.
10.3 Import Duties
The recipient is responsible for any applicable import taxes. Should an item be returned to us due to unpaid duties, it will be resent only once additional postage fees are received.
10.4 Import Taxes on Returns
Any import taxes incurred when receiving goods from overseas will be added to the cost and must be paid in full by the customer before the items are dispatched.
